On October 16th, 2015, the first TRID purchase loan to close in the United States closed in an impressive 10 days at Priority Title & Escrow. Present at the closing were Joseph LaMontagne and Michael Steier of Priority Title & Escrow, Toby Harris and Paul Murdock of Movement Mortgage, Jackie Crawford of Remax Allegiance, and Joe Anderson.
We are entering a historic time in the closing and title insurance industry. People change, processes change, and rules change. The entire landscape of how a mortgage closes has been revamped. Mortgage companies are now taking more of an active role in delivering information to the consumer. Miraculously, Priority Title & Escrow and Movement Mortgage were able to approve and close a loan in this new environment in record time. When others said wait 45 days, we said let’s do it faster. I recently read an article that said title companies are in a “hurry up and wait” holding pattern. Here at Priority Title, things like today’s closing are just business as usual for us. We proved today that under any circumstances we are up for the challenge. In an environment where others are shutting their doors, we are forging ahead! Thanks to Jackie Crawford at Remax Allegiance, Paul Murdock at Movement Mortgage, and their teams.
