In June of 2015 the average home price across the country was $236,400. At the same time, home sales rose 3.2%. That’s a 9.6% increase from the previous year and the highest increase since before the housing crisis. This increase, experts say, is due to a recent rise in interest rates, wages, and an overall improved economy.
